I love a mini skirt and thick tights in the winter- another great pattern is the Nina Lee Camden skirt. I love the big pockets and have made a denim and a dark green corduroy version.

I urge you to try constructing with your overnight. Particularly when you are taking as minimal SA you get a lovely finish inside, and with a4-thread stitch a very secure seam

You’ve made a really lovely job of that skirt . You should get plenty of wear from it over the winter months. I like to hear how you think things through ie: seam allowances . Normally I’m not a straight skirt person as I sport a pop belly and they don’t look that good on me! 😁 But. Maybe I might have a go at this, with a few adjustments it might work 🤔.
