Easy Zipper Pouch Tutorial 🥨 (part 1)

Learn how to make this easy Zipper Pouch (in part one)! Watch the tutorial and you will see how easy it is to insert zippers (it’s only a couple straight lines…!).

Ohhh… and of course, keep an eye out for part two!!! 🦄✨

Place the lining in front of you, right side facing up. Zipper on top, teeth facing up. And then the outside fabric on top, right side facing down. Clip in place and sew together using a 1/4” seam allowance (SA) or your zipper foot. Repeat for the other side.

Now open your fabric zipper sandwich and press. Topstitch along the edges using a 1/8” SA. Fold your sandwich and make sure your teeth are facing towards the lining.

In part two - we add rounded corners and finish your zipper pouch!

Tutorial is suitable for beginners and totally scrap friendly. Because zippers are easy and you can totally do it! ❤️
