this is the absolute best line to line knot. Easier to remember than the others, faster to tie than them too, and the result is also very smooth/low profile. what's not to love

The Alberto is my go-to leader knot. It's not quite as slim as the FG knot but it's easy to tie and incredibly strong. Nice video.

I have used this knot with great success, but there are two reasons people always use heavy line for these demonstrations. First it is easier to see because of the stiffness and size of the lines. Second it is 1000% harder to tie these knots with fine limp lines.

I've been using this knot for 5 or 6 years and wouldn't use any other. It's allowed me to boost my catches by using a fluorocarbon leader. I kayak fish 5 or 6 days a week May to Oct in Ontario Canada using 10lb power pro braid and fluo leaders in the 17lb to 6 lb range. Great demo, this video will help lots of fishermen increase their catches.

Great knot but I run the tag end through the loop 3 times to eliminate any chance of the knot slipping and I’ve never had any problems with it

This is my new go too 👍. I used to tie fg knots (still do on thicker line) but it just keeps slipping with 6lb braid, I can't seem to get it to bite into the 6lb fluro.
