Just saying, for anyone curious. Xiansheng and Xiangke magician are meant to be used in a “Rebellion” deck to enable Odd eyes Rebellion Dragon, and Odd Eyes Raging Dragon to have their effects by using an Xyz monster as one of their materials. However Xiansheng herself is completely unnecessary in this deck as it has access to Dark Anthelion Dragon which enables this play using only itself and other level 7 monsters, so only Xiangke magician is necessary to enable Anthelion to be used as a Level 7 material. In summary, Xiansheng is actually useless in the deck she’s meant to be used in, and deserves a spot on this list.

For the first one it was so you can summon odd-eyes rebellion dragon and have it's full effects. On an added note with the retrain you can play odd-eyes rebellion dragon over it instead of using either pendulum card.

But DAVE! The Speedroid recycles your Stardust Dragon in a Malefic deck! It's way too broken!

Yoko-Zuna is actually pretty good: It's a Generic Scale 1 that returns to your hand once you use it. So, you just put the higher scale in one zone, and once you need to Pendulum Summon something, Play it, Pendulum Summon what you need, then it returns to your hand. It may not be great, but in a rogue deck, where you need a substantial backrow....

I think we need a t-shirt now for "The Obscurity Zone."

DDD is weird because it's technically a pendulum deck but we almost never even set the pendulum scales exempt from Gilgamesh

I am waiting for Trif to make an appearance on the comment section...

I doubt anyone will get this, but I used the spirit pends in the level 5 warrior star fusion deck. They let you summon your monsters from hand while acting as fusion materials when they bounce back. That and they have monarch stats witch adds a monarch draw engine and more 5s with the trap.

I don't know why, but I feel like there should be a "What do?" shirt

I was never quite sure why Pendulum cards had 2 symbols on them.
Maybe one represents a low scale and the other a high scale.
But if this was true, then why are they always the same?
Scale is a single number like level or rank. It should have one marker.

i don't want to make it sound like i'm negative for this video but i feel you are looking at pendulums are strictly doing one thing. For alot of these cards their "gimmick" is to be used as combo fodder for when they were originally released because power creep. For instance number 10 is used for electumite or odd eyes field spell fodder while allowing you to use plays that rely on the xyz monster needing another xyz card under it for instance dark rebellion's evolution and its fusion with odd eyes. A similar thing is what happens with the supper heavy samurai and d/d/d where when those cards were released it was used as easy combo extensions for the deck even more so because their archetype support actually plays around those "detrimental' effects .

D/D can be made into a pendulum deck and the deck is normally about fusions but has monsters that can be used for fusion, synchro or Xyz so it can do a lot depending on the deck you made. Pendulum D/D decks can make special summoning from extra deck easier

I love watching him wig out like he immediately stons himself "is that the xyz or is that the synchro?"

The best way that I view pendulum monsters is not for the special summoning seeing how nobody tends to use that in the first place but more along the lines of using the monsters for their secondary effect. Take the Performapal cards where a good portion of the cards are pendulum monsters but are used for their secondary effect. Even if you plan on using Pendulum cards for the special summoning I don't see how hard it is to actually remember to subtract 1 number from one side and add 1 to the other side? It's just basic math which we were all taught since 1st grade.

Nice new ending clip there. I was on pins and needles wondering if Bakura ever got that milk.

Spirit Warrior pendulums are interesting inasmuch as they'll bounce back to your hand after you've used them, freeing up the pendulum zones for spells and traps, and protecting your scales from being destroyed in your opponent's turn.
If you have two Supreme King Gate Infinity in the scales that's scale 13 x 400 is 5200. That's a lot of direct damage. Then it clears the zones. Still trash though.
