Global culinary icon Nobu is expanding its presence as ‘Nobu by the Beach’ at the new Atlantis The Royal luxury resort.
The concept was interesting, the service was friendly and the environment was simply amazing.

Honestly, I have never cared for hotels like that, the “factory” hotels with a million rooms and fifty pools, even the luxurious ones. When I was very young, I didn’t care too much, but as I got older, I guess my tastes just got extremely particular in this one area (among others) for whatever reason😂 I like my hotels to be intimate, a “haven” of sorts, ideally connected to nature but, even if they are in a big city center, to still offer that “oasis” sort of feel where, once you enter, you feel like you are in a world of calm. I think one of the most extreme examples of this is The Four Seasons on the Hawaiian Island of Lanai. It is currently one of three hotels on the island, the other being up high in the mountains (a colab between Four Seasons and Sensei) and one more historical little hotel with a few bungalows in the tiny town center🤩

Atlantis The Royal seems overrated to me. The rooms are no different to Waldorf Astoria down the road for 1/3 of the price.
