Our rottie had the best love growls and I miss hearing them so much Their growls can be very frightening to people not knowing this personality trait of some rotties.I know the first time ours did this i just froze lol.❤️❤️❤️

It's not necessarily the growling that gets me. It's the lip flipped up. N sometimes how he like jumps or moves his head.
You guys know his movements so you know what he's going to do!

First time I ever met / pet a rot, the owner said she growled when she was happy. Sure enough I gave her some butt scratches and started growl purring lol. As soon as I stopped scratching she stopped purring (and then walked between my legs, leaving her butt in front for more scratches)
