That dog is saying he is in charge and you need to deal with that, I've had many Rotties and that is dangerous behavior for you and others.

i guess that makes laugh everybody yes, but i'm always very surprised at seeing this Rottweiler growling that way!!! i've got two Rottweilers and i can't imagine myself spending my days the way this owner does !!! Not criticising because i see this growling has become a kind of habit for the dog, but why letting this Rottweiler do that though it is recommended not to put pressure on this kind of dogs? I was trained to bring up Rottweilers and i have a license as an owner and sorry to say that but i think it is better not to let a Rottweiler behave that way. Because this breed is conditioned genetically and it is not recommended to let this kind of behaviour becomes a kind of habit. Being aware of their strength is the first step to a good education, because what makes you smile today that can make you cry later, let's not forget that behaviour is going to change in a lifetime of a Rottweiler, exactly the way we do. it is recommended to be very attentive about any suspicious behaviour. Rottweilers are not teddy bears. Focusing on their education is essential as long as they live for the well-being of owners and for theirs also !

This behavior is not normal what ever you say. You dog need to respect you. Also, you increase this bad behavior by give him petting after he have showed agressivity. By this gesture, you validate the growling.
I feel bad because in some country as in France, Rottweiler are stigmatize and considere as dangerous . Those kind of video increase this bad reputation ☹️
