As a Bills fan, I love this. Same we've heard the last 3yrs. 6-6 start last year, "Bills are done. No way they make it to the offseason". And we went on to kick the absolute dog shit out of the supposed juggernaut Dallas, as well as Miami & KC while winning 6 of 7 games and the AFC East again. Curious what Diggs did in those 7 games? 1 TD and 0 100yd games. He averaged around 45yds. Gabe was even worse. Who stepped up? James Cook, Khalil Shakir, and Dalton Kincaid. A 2nd yr, a 3rd yr, and a rookie. All still on the team, btw. Added Curtis Samuel (never had good QBs), Mack Hollis (youtube him, he's a dog), MVS for the deep ball, and Keon Coleman who was a top 10 draft pick until his "slow" 40yd dash. Kid just turned 21 and until this year was concentrating on 2 college sports (both of which he had full ride scholarships). And I'll throw it out there again: he's never had consistent, good QB play. I'll be checking back in January to point out how poorly your take has aged.

Everyone is mad at us for cutting our old, expensive, and injured players. Everyone says our window is closed but no one acknowledges how close all of our playoff games were. We never got blown out this year. And diggs was dropping balls in the playoffs we got got Keon Coleman now. We also have mvs who doesn’t drop balls in the playoffs.

so the bills "key departures" are two safeties who lost a step and never mention the draft pick Cole Bishop who is an answer to replace one the them. Tre White hasn't played a full season since 2020. Bills were just fine ending the season with Benford/Douglas as their two corners. Bills are moving towards a more balanced approach with the run game. its a "everyone eats" with different of skillsets in the receiver room. Diggs regressive under Joe Brady and yet bills went 7-2 and won the division AGAIN

Other than Diggs, the most important peices of the offense are still on the team. Diggs disappeared in the 2nd half of the season and people dont seem to be looking at the nuance there and how the offense actually got better and more productive when we weren't forcing the ball to Diggs to placate him. Sports analysts take the 1000 yard surface view and miss the minutia of the team, they see things so black and white and binary, like, (No Diggs/No Poyer=Winning go bye-bye) the offense will evolve and Allen will keep the ship floating until the new sailors can be trained.

Diggs helped, but one of the biggest factors in Allen's momentum rise starting in the 2020 season is that during that off season, going into the 2020 season is Josh went actually fixed his mechanics working from that off season forward with Jordan Palmer. His accuracy and ball placement achieved a level i didnt think it could. His training with Palmer was the single biggest factor in that growth.

You don’t know if the Bills can control the Miami offense. Did you watch the games that we played against them last year? The Bills have always had a top 10 defense under McDermott despite injuries. Last time I checked, you don’t need a top league WR1 to win a Super Bowl. I would respect your take more if your reasoning was not so contradictory.

Fear is a personal thing. If you think your team can lose to the bills you have no choice but to fear them. These same conversation we’re going on last year and yet here we are. Now if your a guy who’s team never makes the playoffs just stop because you should fear every team. Unless you’re the chiefs and even the chiefs aren’t the same you should be worried that the bills may ruin your season
