Dalgona, a delicious honeycomb confection and entertaining Korean street snack, is enjoying a revolution due to the highly successful series.

Since the third episode of the fictional South Korean survival game included the toffee snack, Korean street vendors of dalgona have gone without sleep as their popularity has skyrocketed.

Dalgona is typically produced by melting sugar in tiny ladles and then adding baking soda, which causes the mixture to bubble up and generate the desired honeycomb structure. It's then poured onto a greased metal plate or surface and squeezed into a thin disc, from which interesting forms of your choice can be punched out with a cutter.
