Squid Game Dalgona Candy

I guess this is technically ppopgi since I started with granulated sugar and not glucose. There's a lot of kitchen chemistry involved with making this simple candy!

The way you made the dalgona was unintentionally incredibly accurate to how it would be done traditionally in korea! My mom told me about how normally there would be grandpas or grandmas outside of her school making dalgona, and if you could get the shape out without it breaking, you could get it for free! But the way they made it is in a super tiny pot over a bunson burner stirring with a single chopstick! Your chem lab just happened to be a super accurate reconstruction!
