what people should  know about Godly/Christian dating? That the man or woman that God has for you will love you in the same way that God loves you, He will mirror the character and behavior of Jesus Christ. You get to experience the fruits of the Holy Spirit within the relationship, that is love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, patience in how they handle you, goodness and self control when it comes to protecting and guarding your sexual purity. That man or woman is not a cheater(faithfulness), a narcist, and emotional and physical abuser, a liar, lacks integrity all those negative things we experience in worldly relationships because God has taken time to set them apart for you by working on their character and behavior by having an intimate relationship  with them also.Its starts with us having an intimate relationship with God before we can have a relationship with the people around us.

If you're really dating as a Christian you're using the time to get to know the person.. you're not sleeping with them coz that's fornication&we know what God says about sex b4 marriage, it's possible that you're not a virgin but that's not a reason to keep sinning abstain till you marry the one.. You can't block the space with a placeholder& still be praying for a kingdom spouse be for real 🤦As soon as you like someone always pray "Lord if this isn't the one confuse everything"Aki He answers immediately accept the answer.. God also gives promises of marriage but it can take years before it happens, be patient.

I am grateful watching this conversation on the first day of the year. I got answers to so many questions that I have been asking myself in relation to dating and relationships. Also looking back I get to reflect on the role I prayed in most relationships leading to breakups. Today I got to think of the fact that God had given me a good man but I couldn't see it until today due to my own brokenness, insecurities, trauma and fear.
