Great video! 4 workspaces with 2 monitors in KDE + Krohnkite + many many keyboard shortcuts suit my needs and workflow for now.

Hey bud, amazing work there, I am currently using pop os, and I have already installed dwm on my system, the problem with using dwm on top of pop os is it does not have .xinitrc, so when my dwm starts I have to set my keyboard and other things every time, can you please please please do some research and make a video on how to use .xinitrc and .xresources with pop os and dwm interchangeably ( perhaps removing login manager and making a script which asks us to use gnome or dwm after we execute startx in tty ), I think this would help a lot of users who are on ubuntu or pop os which is used by most of the linux desktop users, also there is not any content out there on how to do this.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers 🍻 Parth.

Excellent!!😀 I use audacious, audacity and a file manager all the time. I find it cumbersome opening all three everytime I login to Linux. Is it possible to have these three apps load into a specific workspace organized the way I want? This way I can start working right away with always having to launch and place them the way I like into a workspace.

Sir can you please make a video on how to arrange desktop icons on right side. In my case the launch bar overlapping my icons when it is in auto hide mode. I have searched for gnome extensions but not have not find any solution.
It is ubuntu 20.04 lst

If you're talking about native linux applications catching up to windows applications - we are very very far from that. Even when there is an equivalent native application on linux, it is inferior in respect to features, ease of use, and convenience (sometimes very much inferior) when compared to it's windows counterpart. The root cause of this is development resources devoted to native windows/mac apps rather than linux apps....by an exponential factor. For the normie non-enthusiast, linux will never be a platform of choice. But I don't care - linux will be my choice of primary driver platform because I feel so much more intelligent than my family and friends and we know that's what it's all about ;))

I dont get the purpose of this video to be honest. You start by saying Linux did not have applications in the past but now it has enough applications for productivity, on the other hand you show how to manipulate files using terminal which does not make any sense, because at first shell was there since forever, and secondly working with files using the shell is definitely not the most productive way unless you are doing that on a server.
