I except Christ as my Saviour at a Ravi crusade in lower mainland BC. I was only 15 years and took a step of faith and walked to the front of the church for the alter call. My eyes were closed. I opened them and realized I was the only one standing in front of the pulpit. Ravi came down after he finished his prayer and sat with me for about 20+ minutes. We chatted and prayed together. He was a gentle, sweet man. I will never forget that day.

When I heard about Ravi’s tragic news I bawled . I was devastated. It still hurts to this day. I will continue to live in faith despite Ravi tragic end. Ravi didn’t save me, JESUS did!

I went to Bible College. Most of our teachers there would use Ravi’s arguments to help teach us. I was always amazed by how smart Ravi was. I was floored when the bad news came out about him. God gives gifts to people but don’t make the mistake of putting any person on a pedestal. God himself is the only one who never makes mistakes.

I discovered Ravi when I was around 25 years old. In summary, he completely transformed my life and is the reason why I practice Christian apologetics today. Although I was deeply saddened to learn of the things he had done, I realized that he was just a human being and not perfect. While there are no excuses for his actions, it is worth noting that in scripture, God often used some of the most troubled individuals to carry out his plan. Despite his shortcomings, Ravi's work and passion changed not only my life but also the lives of many people around the world. And I believe that is still a testament to God’s grace.

A Biblical balanced, sober and honest view for a minister of the Gospel.
1. Don't cancel him.
2. Differentiate between the message and the messenger.
3. Don't live a double life. Walk in the light both in public and private.
Soul searching in deed!
Thanks for sharing🙏

When you put your eyes on man, you will always be disappointed. We MUST keep our focus on Jesus ALONE and not allow any person to have the power to drag our faith down. ONLY Jesus is faithful...we can always trust Him.

Quite tragic watching this. I am a Christian pastor in Scotland and I find it alarming the way the church elevates men of God, forgetting the old adage that ‘even the best of men are only men at best’. Only on the last day will we find out what the truth was about Ravi, whether he truly knew the Lord or not. One danger of this is that while we wonder about Ravi we stop checking our own heart and life, and that’s when the devil gets a foothold. “Oh Lord, have mercy, and keep us faithful”

As a young girl I listened to Ravi's teaching on marriage and that changed my life for ever. I didnt know who Ravi was but his message came at the right time. I was just a new student at uni and God used Ravi to teach on how to trust God for my future spouse. I don't remember Ravi as anything other than a man that blessed my life with his teachings.

Very well done. I was always amazed at his gentle approach to apologetics. When I heard of the tragedy of his double life my heart broke especially for his wife, family and RZIM. Thankfully, God made it clear to me that Ravi was just a man and it is God’s job to judge. May all who have been hurt by him find peace in the forgiveness that God has so graciously given us.🙏🏼

I was deeply moved and convicted by the charitable and Spirit filled commentary on the life and legacy of Ravi Zacharias. How true is that we have to bring our sins into the light for repentance and forgiveness. My the Lord help us to walk in the light.

I learned about Apologetics through Ravi Zachariah and will always be thankful for the insights. Thank you for this channel and your perspective. For the first time, I have peace about his legacy. I had sadness so far and can finally release the pain and disappointment. I will not cancel him.

I learned greatly from Ravi Zacharias...I enjoyed "Let My People Think" and I was thrilled to see him in person at an apologetics conference. I voraciously read his books. I was crushed when I realized the allegations were true & those women were truly violated & silenced. But I agree that what he taught was truth even if he didn't live it out. He fell and fell hard & tried to hide it...his double life betrayed & devastated so many. He knew what he was doing & continued to do it. He took his "secret" to the grave without acknowledgement & accountability...that is a terrifying thought. But it changes not one word of scripture. We should never lift up another human as infallible. Only to Christ belongs Perfection.

As a growing Christian I learnt a few months ago from another preacher “if you do not get rid of sin it will get rid of you” this I embrace and ask God daily to keep me safe and remove anything they is left in my life in confessed. Sin is a terrible weight to move around with as Christians. Pray on Christian’s read the Bible, fellowship with other believers and serve God in spirit and truth. “Run from the sin life”

This is a compassionate and realistic viewpoint and warning. I grieve to see any minister of the Word fall. I pray for pastors, teachers, preachers and worship leaders.

Thank you for this video. Ravi's story reminds me of King Solomon. We should always remain humble, knowing we all can fall in a trap. I pray Ravi's wife and family were able to forgive him and continue their walk with Jesus.
