Thanks Jerry, I have 22% in JEPQ and 5.5% in SCHG. Very happy!
I retired last year...

Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments.

I was literally just wondering how these two compared and you dropped this video. That's so weird but good.

I agree with you completely, now I will have to add SCHG to my portfolio. Thank you for your insight :)

Great comparison. Where does QQQM falls in the growth side of the portfolio? Was initially thinking of doing SCHG and/or QQQM

I hate dividends that pay quarterly. JEPQ has been banging away daily, and monthly. I have to grab more JEPQ.

Would you consider doing a behind the 8 ball retirement video? I'm 67 with not quite enough to retire, and struggle with deciding how to balance my portfolio. I'm currently in JEPQ, VUG, (will add SCHG now), TSLA, PLTR, MSTR, NVDA, QBTS, AI, BRRR, ETH, MSTY, QDTE, XOVR, and YMAX. Trying to decide how I should rebalance that.

If I’m 10-15 yrs to retirement - dripping JEPQ - because I don’t need the dividends yet - is this smart to be invested in now or later closer to retirement or even in retirement?

In a previous video you talked about SCHG, JEPQ, and VOO together; but now just SCHG and JEPQ. Which is better? Thanks!

Thank you Jerry.
Listened to you and got SCHG at $26 a few weeks ago.

I have 8% JEPQ in my Roth and it delivers good returns. SCHG is just a beast that needs no introduction!😮

@Jerry, i have another question. Dave Ramsey and others have said for retirement you should enough money into your 401k to get the company match and then max out a roth ira. I'm now thinking that doesn't make sense to put money into 2 different retirement funds because they will grow slower since the balances are smaller than stuffing it all into jist the 401k..Does my thinking make sense??

Very interesting. I was thinking about using JEPQ to be a baseline return driver to ensure I’ve always got something to pump into growth when the market is down and the growth stuff is cheaper to buy. How do I divert the dividends from JEPQ reinvestment into another etf purchase?

Don't these 2 ETFs clash in the tech sector? Or is their dividend vs. growth paths so different that it doesn't matter? But wouldn't SCHD diversify more with the SCHG?

I think long back you mentioned SCHD and not G. Did I made mistake understanding it or you mentioned about buying SCHD as well? I am confused.

What about VUG? Although it seems SCHG is slightly better.

Hey Jerry I’m currently 30 years old I have 100k in jepq and 114k in schg, do you recommend I keep things as is and continue plugging away at both and adding to position or do you recommend since I’m only 30 taking some out of jepq and adding to Schg ? I like the idea of both systems in my portfolio long term
