Hey guys, this is a new style of Short that focuses on the travel component of exploring what it takes to live a more fulfilling life. I believe that most people don’t know enough about other cultures and by asking foreigners about their home countries, we can really open our eyes up to new places and inspire ourselves to visit areas we never thought we’d go to. Anyways, hope you enjoy it and let me know about any countries I should do next👇🏻

Fascinating. My daughter has a Korean friend who visited and never smiled. I thought she disliked us all.

The funniest thing is that she was smiling the entire time. I guess she got used to US customs

I walked into a pharmacy in Seoul and the lady behind the counter looked very serious I was afraid to ask. But when I walked up and showed her my translator app asking for fever medicine, she smiled kindly and even asked for more specific symptoms so she can recommend the best medicine for me. She was so enthusiastic in helping me I felt bad for thinking she was angry at first. 😅

Even if Koreans look so blunt, they may be so kind and very active when you ask for help.

I live in korea and as a foreigner here i want to answer your questions 🤓
Life in Korea is very comfortable. Everything has easy access even if you don’t speak the language you can get around pretty easily. But at the same time it can be very lonely because out of seoul there aren’t many foreigners.
About the PDA like she said there are no rules about it some people like to do it some people don’t. But you can see it on the street pretty often.
Some misconception about south korea would be that people think life here is like living inside a kdrama 😅.
Something normal in Korea and not normal in my country (Chile) would be how safe Korea is, I feel safe walking alone at night on the street or going to a bar with a friend, i can leave my bag unattended and nobody would take it. That for me is priceless.

There are many things i don’t understand about korea because it isn’t my own culture, it isn’t a perfect place, but i respect their country and i appreciate the wonderful things they have done. 😊

My experience about Korea is, in a nutshell, it is almost the exact opposite of what we see in K-drama

A short definition of Korea would be “a country that is safe even at night.” Because there are so many people and so many lights that you won't even realize it's night...

1. Most Koreans are kind if you are not rude

2 . Appearanceism is more serious than other countries

3 . Most areas have good security

4 . Most people think fashion is important, but most people wear it similarly except for some people

5 . It is not a country at war

6 . It's just that we're in the middle of a truce

7 . He is blunt, but he will try to help in any language if he asks for help

8 . The situation in the K - drama you watch only happens to very few people

9 . Seoul and Busan are also good for sightseeing, but if you want to experience Korean traditions, go to a folk village

10 . Studying is more boring and difficult than other countries

11 . High school students in my country study 14 hours on average

12 . It's hard for us to see idols on a daily basis

13 . In Korea, few people say that kimchi is spicy. except for a few
