Sorry for the re-upload everyone. Had to deal with false copyright claims on one of the songs I purchased and just figured the best move would be to use a diff song and reupload.

But besides that, I had a ton of fun making this video especially because it's based on the true story of the sinking of the Titanic! Lemme know what y'all think about the film now that it's 25 years old, how does it stand the test of time?

Don't forget to leave a like and sub if you enjoyed!!

That’s not OCD. It’s attention to detail. There’s a big difference

I've always thought that Jack and Rose were Cameron's depiction of Romeo and Juliet
Star crossed lovers forbidden to be together

16:09 Even James Cameron himself has said that was an accurate description of what it feels like to be submerged in freezing water, based on his own experiences with ice fishing when he was growing up in Canada.

The mythbusters episode always cracks me up, james Cameron is basically saying "guys, it's just a movie".

The amount of research that went into the Titanic movie is insane. Almost every movement, object, and even extra is there for a reason and has a true story behind it. For example there was one seen where a extra looked at a character who was speaking in the moment because that person in real life heard the conversation but said nothing (I can’t remember what it was about)

It's so nice to see someone highlighting some of the great details about the film! It seems like most every video I'm ever recommended are just people complaining about things. Sometimes even thinking things are flaws or mistakes when they aren't. Great job and great video quality, too 🙂

You forgot that James Cameron had an affair during this movie. While filming the smash hit Titanic, Cameron began an affair with Suzy Amis, who plays the elderly Rose Calvert's granddaughter Lizzy. Despite the affair, he married Linda Hamilton in 1997. But after only eight months, he left her again for Amis, who he is still with today.

The scene with Strausses should have been included. It's not that long, but such emotional

Just like in the real Titanic, in the movie, the grand staircase broke off and floated away.

Another mistake is that the did not have flashlights in 1912 as the scene shows of the officers using them in lifeboats looking for survivors

In regards to lifeboats in the fourth funnel: the original designs of the ship had it carrying 64 lifeboats, but as regulations didn’t require that many, they opted for the bare minimum in order to keep the ocean view clear (as stated in the movie). After Titanic sank, her sister Olympic’s lifeboat compliment was raised to 64.

2:00 You can almost imagine Cameron having a conversation with someone and saying "It's not possible! What, are people going to go see it in the theater three times?!!" Yes, James. And even more.
