I agree with what he said and ultimately it boils down to how serious you are about having a POD store with your designs and having enough start up funds to pay for a shopify store, marketing and a domain.

Fantastic video, and I agree with the principles outlined. I would however disagree with some of your assessments related to Amazon Merch. Specifically, I have been very successful targeting high competition niches (such as sarcasm, cats, etc) because I know how to use Amazon Ads effectively. Also, you technically don't need to spend time every day to stay relevant. Even uploading once every week or two (once you have a decent base of designs) is fine - it's really more a function of how fast you want to grow. The main issue with Merch is (as Joe points out) you don't control the platform and they can shut you down whenever they want. You also don't own any customer info or a business you can sell. Again, great vid all in.

Thanks for insight the main reason for doint the marketplace for me is lack of revanue to pay the fulfiment fees of Printful or Printify. Do you know if Shopify has an internal POD or Dropship tshirt app that takes the fulfilment directly from the sales > Thanks
