The Penguin debuted amazingly for sure! I'm a little sad not a lot of people are watching it. Collin Farell deserves an emmy coming out of ep 1. i do need to be in a speciic mental space to continue watching this series, so I might not watch weekly. but i plan to watch all of it when I am in that space.

Even the slight complaints about the pickles on the burger after killing someone was such a human touch, makes it feel so immersive, still can't see Colin at all inside the suit, looks nothing like him it's insane

Comparing this show to Sopranos and or Breaking bad, even if you’re trying only comparing tones, will only do it a disservice. The show while well made, is by every metric derivative. Which is fine-but prestige it is not. Yes this is all opinion..
