When my kids were growing up, I would always leave the bay leaf in so someone could win the “prize”, a kiss from mom. It also made for an interesting time when we had company. 😄

After 72 years of cooking somehow I missed one small bay leaf in a pot of stew. You guessed it my hubby swallowed it..it stuck in his throat and we ended up at the ER just as they were to begin going down his throat he coughed and out it came. Just a warning to everyone.

I'm a disabled mom of 3 (set of twins and a teenager) and these recipes have been a game changer! It's hard for me to grip knives to cut meat so seeing how easy it is to make a meal with meat and able to chop it up has helped me so much! Thanks for the great ideas; we are loving them!!
