Should you Settle with the debt collector? Does it ever make sense? When

A lot of people want to settle when a debt collector files suit against them. They're afraid of what will happen if they don't. When does it make sense to settle? What should you do first? That's what this video will tell you.

i wonder why some rather sue than.settle on the debt.collectors sideI had attempted to settle with the bank directly, they declined my offer and weeks later they sued me. in the end they settled for much less than what I had offered. but ultimately it equals out since I had to hire an attorney..

I have no record of the Doctor nor what he/ she did to me or for me nor does my insurance. So I simply asked for more information and if legitimate I would promptly issue payment or refill to my insurance.

Never settle with a collector. If you settle work with the original creditors.

They as of this writing has denied any other information other than the billing statement and basically called me a loon and they don't have to prove the debt is real.

I will give you an example of a real case on going at the moment due to you and your information and how it has improved and helped me.
Debt collector called me and I asked them to stop calling me but I am open to correspondence via written letters. They wrote me a demand for payment I re wrote them denying payment of and or the debt is real and asked them to prove their claim and I would make a decision based on the information provided. "They sent me a billing statement" I sent them back another denial of payment or debt owed and exposed their weak position and demanded they quit harassing me until the file suit and issue me a summons and complaint so that I may answer in writing. The point is I have cancer and have a copy of all the dates times labs doctors ect and the collection agency who is representing the plaintiff party is a law firm.
