Only programs already in Windows 10 are shown. I want to add an icon for an unlisted program that I use every day.

I have been dragging from the Menu onto the desktop. It does put icons on to the desktop. But they (at least the Firefox icon) seems to take FOREVER to open.
Is my method of adding icons the problem? Could it really be that simple?

no tutorial works windows ten will not let me drag right click or do anything with the fucking apps
