First of all, thank you.
I tend to exercise based on stabilizing my shoulders. I've done a lot of functional exercises such as Persian Meel, Clubbell, and Bulgarian Bag, and I've recently become interested in Flowrope, so I'm practicing it. I think this video has become a pretty good teaching for me. Have a nice day today. :)

Hi - Nice points. After 35 years of Capoeira I'm getting into the rope - it's very similar to dance and capoeira Angola movement. I found that when I started the main or even only thing was over compensating with my dominant hand. Thanks hope bomb into you one day

I started rope flowing while urban inline skating and Unicycling a few months ago and really enjoying it so far. Thank you for all the hints, and sharing! Very helpful!! 🤩🤸‍♀️

Does anyone here use these movements in their jump rope routines? I am getting a flow rope and think this will cross over to my jump rope workouts.

Thanks for this! I’m just getting started, and there are some good tips there. I think listening to the rope is going to be a good thing. And I actually, even though I’m really just beginning, noticed in my movement just walking across the room last night I think, that some of the rope movement was influencing my movement! It was kind of cool.

BRILLIANT - THANK YOU 😃

Discovered you through SS 🙏
Subscribed and following.

Tim, this is inspiring practice and commitment.
Have been ill long term (>15 years) - am gradually stronger.

Rope flow looks accessible and achievable. Simple (not easy) to progress in 🙏

Take away; excited and take it slowly ❤️

Excellent tips as ever Tim, especially truth for self. Continuing to improve & find more flow. Thanks ♾

Excellent. As an absolute beginner it seems I need to exaggerate my shoulder and back movements to get it right.

Great video! Been rolling the ropes for a year now, and I always go back to the basics. And I always need to remind myself to go slow and feel the rope and be one with the rope. 😍

Not sure if you're aware but the way you have the rope over your neck and torso is an excellent way to gauge the correct rope length for your body type. I just discovered this by checking with my own rope. It sat almost identically to yours 👍

Dude great content man. Thanks for making this.
Invaluable guidance for someone like myself who is brand new about to embark on my rope-flowing learning-journey!
Many thanks Tim for sharing your own lessons learned & wisdom.

Hi, Tim -- thanks for a great video! I'm just starting with rope flow but I may have been overly ambitious to think I can jump right in as I'm still recovering mobility after surgery to repair a broken wrist. I was hoping rope flow could help get my wrist moving more freely but it's been a bit of a challenge. Can you recommend ways to start practicing when you don't have full wrist motion on one side? For now I'm doing what I can and taking it slow! Thanks :)
