I just wanna share my story. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was 89kg height 160cm in 2021. My gynae did say I was borderline diabetic but not yet. However, I was prescribed a diabetes medicine metformin but I decided there must be a more natural way than just eating medicine. I came across videos about fasting and keto and never looked back.

I was slowly losing weight over a period of 7 months and down to 65kg. Got pregnant naturally eventho I’m scheduled for an IVF.

Im now a mother of one to a healthy baby with no complications :)

I love how at times it looks like Dr. Bikman has finished his point, but then Steven stays silent and the doc keeps going deeper and adding color to his explanation. This style of interviewing makes these conversations so valuable.

I studied nutrition in college 25 years ago. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, was talking about this information back then. It was all about using food to manage disease, not using food to reverse disease. We are living in amazing times.

35 days of Keto for the first time ever. Started 2nd January 2025 now 8th February and 8kg or 17.5 lbs gone. So easy and loving the food choices. No More than 20g of carbs a day and focus on more fat than protein. Take MCT in 3 black coffees and don’t eat before noon finish before dark. Ideally eat within 4 hours total. I am amazed - not felt this good since a teenager.
Another 15kg to go and I know I will. That’s another 37 lbs to go.
So happy. It really works. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s taken me at least 6 hours to watch this. I keep backing up to take notes. I feel like this is MUST WATCH for anyone in the process of curing their insulin resistance.

Wow wow wow.
At first I said : "oh man, not this topic again. I have already all the information I need."
And then I start listening : amazing! After a few minutes I am 100% all ears, wanting to hear more! This guy explains perfectly, like nothing I've ever heard until now, and the facts and knowledge. I will have to listen to this twice, because there a lot to grasp.

Never in my life have I heard insulin resistance explained so well! Now I TRULY understand it. Goes to show you that there are a lot of brilliant people on this planet, but not everyone can TEACH that brilliance to enlighten others. BRAVO!

I graduated from BYU in cellular biology and one of my absolute favorite professors was Dr. Benjamin Bikman! I took his pathophysiology course and my biggest regret in college was not taking endocrinology with him as well. Watching this video took me back to his class and all of our discussions around chronic illness and insulin resistance. It has really made look at chronic disease differently and how we approach treatment to their root causes. I am forever grateful for his class and it will for sure influence my practice as a future physician

Dr B is the man, I am a double certified Internist and ER physician. His clinical and pathophysiology is beyond reproach. Never miss his content. Besides I lost 140 lbs and put DM2 into remission. Why give insulin to hyperinsulinemic. If I could take back every RX for insulin back and stopped HS snacks my patients would have thrived. Fred Douglas - If there is no struggle there is no progress

I was pre-diabetic and high blood pressure, refused to go on medication, started carnivore diet to control my insulin and everything back to normal. The biggest shock for me was the advice I ignored would have kept on horrible metabolic path, thanks Dr B and Jason Fung sharing they're lives work with us. Giving us real advise that isn't profiting drug companies.
