& a week back JOE BIDEN mocked ELON MUSK saying FORD is hiring 6, 000 employees so Elon musk should worry about that .
But this says something else .

well it will be interesting to see what happens with power demand most places ive seen now are on the verge of a power crisis are the grids are struggling to keep up so if the world wants to ev and everyone when they get home from work in the evening from work plugs there car in to charge it they will put more massive strain on the grid and create more power blackouts then you wont be driving anywhere at all

He needs to cut cost, lay people off, so he can afford he's new yacht in a few years.

Good to know. Cost cutting programs means quality cuts greater than what they save. Guess my choices have been reduced to Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai/Kia. Oh well, it’s their funeral.

It was hilarious when that reporter asked her where the power was coming from to charge their new EV coming out....she said, "from the building"...He goes "no I mean where does the power come from for the building?" So she was silent and had a spokesman answer the question of where the electricity comes from to charge the car. He actually said it comes from 94% coal from the energy company out of state. This is the dumbest crap I've ever seen. Everyone thinks that electricity is magic and doesn't pollute, and that doesn't even include the damage the batteries do to the environment. Nevermind that the things will kill the grid and the cars also explode in garages and catch your house on fire and you can't pit a lithium fire out....so now the insurance companies are going to raise rates if you charge an EV in your garage. As long as it's "not in their backyard" for coal powered electric generation. The other sad thing is the Chinese slave labor and pollultion that comes from the battery material mines. The waste is incredible.

EVs are in high demand. If you order a Ford Mustang Mach-E, currently the wait time in the US is over 32 weeks. Ford is not making enough Mach-E to satisfy global demands. That's why they have to winding down the ICE production in order to shift the resources to expand EV production. The future is electric!

Can the grid in the US handle the load once people are driving EV?

I doubt it, the US will probably have to double their capacity and install thousands of charging stations.

I'm 60 years of age, I work for the auto industry. I live within 30 minutes of Ford World headquarters. They are just thinning out the aged workforce and re arranging the factories. This is a positive move for Ford! Ford is extremely healthy at this time . TATA motors not so good right now.
