I like this idea WAYYYY better as a series of ARG(Alternative Reality Game for those unaware) where footage of people disappearing in a split second on grainy recording devices is compiled, would kind of give SCP event to me as well. Too bad it's a weird religious thing instead for some grifter book.

I already spent *_way more than $30_* 😭 when I was a kid I read the Left Behind kids series and each of those books was a *_bait and switch_* with a half story on 50 pages for $5, and in 2003 $5 was a lot of money!

Lol, the airport dude glitched outta the matrix. But srsly, this stuff reminds me of a well documented case where a college professor was seen walking to his car, he got inside, and VANISHED. Witnesses ran up to the car and searched it, but he was GONE. And the witnesses had never taken their eyes off of him the whole time.
