The Lube or Soap part was quite stimulating.

This will keep the toilet in use whilst the bathroom is being changed, so when it comes to fitting the new toilet it can be quickly swapped without having no toilet for days. Will do this when I change our bathroom, cheers!

Can you tell me why the cistern does not touch the wall anymore?

The house we recently purchased the Plumber must have been pissed when centering the bowl or the builder pissed when centering the room around the outlet in the floor because it's 8cms too far to the left of the rooms center line. Concrete floor with tiles so moving the outlet pipe isn't an option so this flexi outlet pipe thingy will be just perfect. Looking into purchasing a new raised toilet so us older folks can easily stand and sit onto the toilet. Need one with a short S bend outlet to get the required flex between the floor and the top of the S bend.
Thanks for the very helpful clip, before watching this I'd been thinking of making a concrete S bend for between the toilet and the floor.

In reality, its a messy job, wear gloves. I would've thoroughly cleaned the pan outlet to ensure no debris / hard water scale remained when fitting the new flexible pipe as this will encourage leaks if there's not a tight seal. Most pan designs mean that the water level in the pan is exactly the same as the invert of the outlet seal so there's a good chance that there will always be water laying on the seal.

Now that’s what I call a proper demonstration.

A "swan neck" flexi-connector would have brought the cistern closer to the wall.

I don't see the point in doing what you did. You had a back to the wall toilet, now you don't.

Neat. A flexible connector saves a lot of trouble.

After a good curry I usually have a large movement so this would be a good modification.

The first question that comes to mind, what secures the toilet pan to the floor, surely these don't just sit there, waiting to be pulled out?

Rename the video " how to remove a perfectly fitted toilet and make it dodgy as hell"

Wasn’t the toilet bowl fixed to the floor ? Not the way to leave it……

How come the toilet is not screwed to the floor?

My pan connector is leaking. It's an old one that disappears into tiles. Ideally I would replace it as it looks very easy, the problem I have is every flexi connector I seen in screwfix, isn't as flexible as the old one. In this video he fits the new flexi pan connector and pushes the toilet back, but due to the lack of flex in the flexi pipe the cistern doesn't go back to the wall again. Obviously I'd like mine to return to the wall and be screwed in and secure any ideas?

It would be good to have verbal instructions

Just get a pan with an S trap, instead of that P trap. No elbow needed. Don't they have them in the Northern Hemisphere? That type of pan is designed to connect to a wall sewage pipe.
