Watch live from Boca Chica, Texas, as SpaceX attempts the sixth test flight of its massive Starship rocket.

SpaceX pulled off the boldest test flight yet of its enormous Starship rocket last month, catching the returning booster back at the launch pad with mechanical arms.

President-elect Donald Trump will attend the launch on Tuesday, in the latest indication of founder Elon Musk's influence in the Republican's orbit.

the ships dont seem to mind the watery touchdown, its the falling over bit that seems to break them

How about some video of the banana upon re-entry? Isn't that why it's along for the ride?

This system requires rapidly reusability to get to the moon
Musk: "eight launches would be needed to completely refuel a Starship in low Earth orbit, "
If they can't get the booster and tanker Starships to land, refuel and relaunch quickly then Starship's liquid oxygen boils off in orbit
I think the government should be worried about SpaceX delivering a vehicle capable of a moon mission

44:38 (left side)? And 45:00 (the sun)? Dust, glares, fluid drops?

A "little burn-through" may be better than a lot, but any is inconsistent with Starship being a rapidly reusable spacecraft.

Just catching up - so they didn't do the tower landing this time then? Must have been planned to do sea-landings I take it.

You would think this video should have a billion views shows the disinterest the world has they rather focus on their livelyhoods

Actually gives us hope for the future where NASA dropped off completely 🎉

Private company doing it faster, better and cheaper than NASA. And makes a profit. Im shocked I tell ya!

What a shame the booster has been deviated. The landing was perfect.
I think the technology is mature enough now.
Well done Space X, well done Elon. To the moon, to Mars ... 😊

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

scientists and engineers may succeed or fail from time to time. but the fanboys’ foolness never failed us.

Excellent Vlog,
Ok as an avid watcher to these flights have I missed something.
OK so they Test and Test and say Going to Catch and then Data is sent back can’t catch so dump it in the sea got that bit and the catch is for the bottom part ie Booster rocket to reuse but then having the sea dump it is now Classed as successful and they can read all the data.
So what happened to the landing of the main Rocket on land cause what I saw originally was it landed, it went on fire or blew up. the last one landed but caught fire and sat there for ages on fire and I know no oxygen in space = no fire but if I was a Astronaut with a rocket that was sending me back data “you have a problem but don’t worry cause it’s not on fire” I would be worried. Cause if the main rocket is going to land on the Moon or Mars there is no alternative Soft landing for them up there cause the only water is Solid ice so don’t you think they should still be testing that landing out cause the main part seems to take off ok and re enters ok but they still insist bumping it in the ocean. Have they changed there mind and are going to use an alternative like NASA ie the Eagle type craft that landed instead of the main rocket.
