Replay! SpaceX launches Starship on 5th flight, booster catch successful

SpaceX launched Starship for 5th time on Oct. 13, 2024 from Starbase in south Texas. The Super Heavy booster was caught by the launch tower's 'chopsticks' shortly after separation from Starship.

I'm 52 years old and I've grew up obsessed with space and space travel and seeing this in my lifetime is one of the greatest human accomplishments I've ever seen. And especially in these times where it seems the majority of technological advancements are put towards the destruction of humanity in one way or another and with the current situation of being closer to WW3 than ever before I see SpaceX's accomplishments as a glimmer of hope that maybe just maybe some of us humans will escape from ourselves and one day find other more advanced beings among the stars.
