Thank you. Great work. Could I make a question? I started the back up on Windows 10. How I can check that it works?

Thank you for a great and very informative video! I've been researching for weeks now trying to find a solution to my needs and hope you can offer a suggestion to help. I know there are many others with the same question I have. I'm trying to find a way to backup my windows 10 SETTINGS so if my PC crashes or if I get a new PC I can transfer all the settings. I spent a consif6 amount of time setting them up and configuring windows 10 exactly the way I want it but can't figure out how to back that up. All backup options appear to be related to files but not actual "settings". I've read there is only 1 way to do this by having a microsoft account and enabling SYNC. I want to avoid anything to do with a microsoft account or syncing as microsoft has a lack of privacy. Suggestions are so appreciated!!!

Appreciate the details about how to use File History backups. But you don't mention HOW this backup process works. Does it replace all files/folders over again on each backup run or does it just replace files that have changed? For files that have changed since the last backup, what happens to them? Are they deleted or archived in some way? Thanks.

Not sure how I would fix it. I shall appreciate if you could give me any

Can you backup your other external hard drives (not the actual external backup drive) using File History ?
I added the external hard drive I wanted backed up using the "add folder", and it looked like it added the drive, but it does not appear to have been backed up, when I ran the backup.
I keep all kinds of files on this external hard drive, like documents, photos, music, videos, etc that I do not want stored on my C: drive, and can easily move it to another computer.

If you are backing up to USB Sticks with limited space, how would you selectively b/u certain folders and had several of those sticks? Does Win10 know that your folders are backed up somewhere or is that data on the stick itself? Or would it be better to copy folders to USB Sticks and not use Win10 Files History? Thanks.

I noticed my Windows stopped making backups over half a year ago! When I go to the File History it is telling me my drive isn't supported anymore!!! I have my main HDD and a 2nd HDD installed only used for backups but now Windows is telling me I MUST USE AN EXTERNAL drive to backup on!?! Do you know of any registry edits that can let me re-enable my file history backups?

Also lucky I noticed this, nice of Microsoft to stop supporting internal backups and not inform anyone of that, what if I had a disk failure and needed my data bacK!
