◆What is the HUNTER×HUNTER anime?
Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since 1998, HUNTER×HUNTER is an epic adventure story by Yoshihiro Togashi. Gon, the protagonist, who takes the hunter’s exam to become a hunter like his father and be able to meet his father, continues to challenge the “unknown” world with his friends, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika and others he has met in an ongoing emotional journey.
The TV animation HUNTER×HUNTER, based on the manga of the same name, was broadcast from October 2011 to September 2014 on Nippon Television and other networks, and is still supported by many fans as a work that portrays the new “Hunter World” while maintaining the passionate story from the original manga.
The comic series has sold more than 84 million copies (including digital editions)

Honestly, it doesn't look all that bad, but Meruem's attacks and animations really undersell how powerful he actually is.

For a game that has "IMPACT" on the title, the attacks really lack that IMPACT. The guy is launching a nuke, but it sound like a slingshot.

Meruem is playable. I'm glad to see that my second favorite character in the series after Killua is playable. I'm really hoping this game will be good as I love Hunter X Hunter

I get that Meruem really only had the one real fight, and his transforming powers came after it, but I do wish we got non cannon version of him with his absorbed powers, just for more visual flair. (wings and stuff the red guy does thrown in some attacks)

IE He never got to use those in a battle, but it would make fights with/against him more visually interesting IMO.
