HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT is based on the “Hunter x Hunter” anime, which ran from October 2011 through September 2014, with the manga still ongoing in Weekly Shonen Jump since March of 1998. Developed by Bushiroad Games and published by ARC SYSTEM WORKS AMERICA, HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will feature blistering fast 3v3, team and assist based fighting game action true to the spirit of competitive 2D fighting games.

The 2D fighting game HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT will be released in 2024!

◆What is the HUNTER×HUNTER anime?
Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since 1998, HUNTER×HUNTER is an epic adventure story by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Gon, the protagonist, who takes the hunter’s exam to become a hunter like his father and be able to meet his father, continues to challenge the “unknown” world with his friends, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika and others he has met in an ongoing emotional journey.
The TV animation HUNTER×HUNTER, based on the manga of the same name, was broadcast from October 2011 to September 2014 on Nippon Television and other networks, and is still supported by many fans as a work that portrays the new “Hunter World” while maintaining the passionate story from the original manga.
The comic series has sold more than 84 million copies (including digital editions)

Leorio's voice actor is still Keiji Fujiwara, I can't believe it😭
In case you don't know, he was Leorio's VA for the 2011 anime and sadly passed away in 2020. I thought they would just recast him for this game, but it appears they had enough recordings to keep him as the voice. He gets to be Leorio once again! Rest in peace king

I don't have a problem with the graphics, but I understand if they're not up to other people's standards. However, I think that "budget" titles like this can still have their place in today's market. The pursue of high fidelity, the latest graphics and technology has proved very detrimental to AAA modern games and it's killing the industry. If we can have smaller titles like these in exchange of they needing much fewer resources and shorter development times, I think it's a fair trade. Give it a chance if it's at fair price. It reminds of those anime fighters/games of the ps2 era, and there were quite a few of those back then (mainly in Japan, though), even a mildly popular series could still get a game, something you don't see today.

I really hope Bandai and Shueisha get together to finally give arc the keys to a whole Jump Stars fighting game that’s on par graphically with DNF Duel & Guilty Gear. At this point I feel like only Arc should be the next company to touch Shonen Stars game series

1: This game is still in development, meaning the graphics are subject to be changed later on.
2: Please don’t try and start World War III in the replies.
3: Bungee Gum has the properties of both rubber and gum.
Edit: I have just now been made aware of the fact that this game is slated for release on 2024, and we’re already halfway through the year, making my statement on #1 obsolete and misinformation. I profoundly apologize for my wicked and unforgivable crime and will now proceed to Minecraft myself out of existence.

I gotta be honest, I find the animations to be really lacking ommph, like there doesn't feel like there's any impact to the character's movements.

This game has a charm to it despite the visuals. It’s pretty obvious this game won’t be another DBFZ but if the gameplay is solid and it’s not too pricey, it could be a great niche 2d fighter.

The graphics isn’t the problem visually it’s the stages bruh they’re too bland and don’t got anything going on behind them. And a little more screen shake on things like knock downs would help a lot too
