I was hoping the last ingredient(s) would be onion, celery, and maybe a little red bell pepper. I like crunch and freshness to the potato salad.

I'm one of those people who has to add celery, bell pepper and onion to potato salad. But this looks so good, I am going to try it. I prefer sweet gherkins chopped more so than relish. But those sweet salad cubes might work just fine.

My now go to potato salad. I didn’t have Dukes, but it was still a hit. Creamy. Served on Thanksgiving.

I'm going to try your recipie right now! Thanks for the great tip to mix all the ingredients together BEFORE adding the potatoes-and I'm going to take it a step further, and add SOME of the recommended amount of sugar first too. I believe it's going to come out great. Blessings!
