I worked as a court reporter till I retired in 2010. For years, I had some of the most horrible symptoms. Lightheadedness, low grade fever, fatigue, felt completely out of sorts. Could never figure out the cause of my symptoms. After I retired, in a matter of a few months, all my symptoms were gone. I felt like a new person. I have changed my diet for the better, added super foods. When I think back, I realize what caused my symptoms - dirty heating ducts, some parts of the building had mold coming from leaks in the ceiling when it rained, and the stress level definitely didn't help. A perfect storm.

Thanks so much Dr. Tom for bringing this information to all our households....i have been actually aware of this since 1994 when i ended up in an environmental clinic... I was working in the Dept of Health when i got sick...i was in my forties...i am now 73 and i have spent most of my life trying to stay environmentally safe...so thank you...hard to believe that this has been going on as early as the 90's and the world is still not aware.

Fabulously informative. Just read The Autoimmune Fix by Dr Tom and this builds on lots of what he writes about. I need to clean up my kitchenware now and throw out a load of plastic. It's hard when you travel, but like Dr Tom says it's about cleaning up as much as you can without being fanatical. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Dr Tom!

LUV you guys!!! very informative, Ive done the grandma cheap thing and would store my food in a bowl with a saucer over it or cup w. saucer over it. My friends clld me cheap, they didnt know that I was poor & cut corners where I saw necessary, but now my being "poor" saved me alot more then money in the long run!!!

I loved this message. Dr. Tom is excellent at explaining things. It's said that plastic is forever. So, say we stop all, or most, uses of plastic in our daily lives. What do we do to get rid of the buildup of BPA's that have accumulated in our bodies? Or, are we destined to just live with it?

thanks Tom, its quite intense, like an inconvient truth! I've been speaking about this for years, but we must give people positive things they can do, to make a difference. xx You are doing this.

Soda Stream comes with plastic bottles. I would think transferring the seltzer water immediately into an airtight glass container would be the best way to store and then drink it. Loved the program. THANKS!

This was excellent information. I always knew plastics were bad with food but I never realized HOW bad. Now...how to get rid of the ones in your body after all these years?

Thank you, Dr. Tom, for all your enlightening words about BPA and BSA, & so many items that we are exposed to daily without any thought to their toxicity. We all need to go to our kitchens and throw away plastic containers, Saran Wrap, Tupperware, cans lined with BPA etc. The list goes on & on & on... Thanks for raising our awareness to these poisons!

Those stainless steel coffee thermos's have plastic lids. I'm constantly aware of the items I come in contact with, and what they're made of. Lighting in the home is usually Fluorescent or LED's which are very toxic, chemically and visually. My mom sold Tupperware for years and died from the complications of Scleroderma! Our exposure was unbelievable! Is Nylon safe as a synthetic cooking tool?
I really like seeing you guys discussing these environmental toxins! You're very well versed with your information! Thanks!

I saw a comment online that a lady stopped her hot flashes by going plastic free a couple of years ago. I had had frequent hot flashes and night sweats for over 20 years and nothing had stopped them. So I went plastic free using glass jars mainly for food storage and the hot flashes stopped! A few weeks later I bought a new artisan yogurt in a small plastic tub and that was enough to give me hot flashes for a couple of days! Oils in plastic bottles taste like plastic to me so all oils need to be in dark glass bottles for protection from light deterioration.
