[SOLVED] Ubisoft Games not Working on GeForce Now

Summary: When you launch the game, disconnect your Ubisoft account in the GeForce Now settings page, which will bring up Ubisoft Connect within the GFN session. Within the settings dialog of Connect, uncheck "Start Ubisoft Connect in Offline Mode". Log into your Ubi account, and the game should start.

Thank you for sharing your solution for this very frustrating issue. You are my hero of the day! I have been in contact with both Ubi and GFN support for about 3 weeks without solution .
After a downtime from Ubisoft Connect I could suddenly not play anymore. I tried every possible suggestion (removing games from library manually, removing folder from appdata folder, reinstalling, disconnecting and reconnecting Ubi account, Install Ubi connect locally to see if that worked or not (it did!) I was so frustrated about this!

I did not get the pop-up for connecting when starting the game after disconnecting the accounts. I just got redirected to the GFN settings to connect from there. The login screen after reconnecting and starting lasted only a few seconds. So I had to click the settings fast to see that indeed Offline mode was activated.

When I unmarked it, I got a message that I had no permission to change things and the game crashed again. Restarted GFN and the game again and it worked! HURRAY! 🥳

I’m trying to play rainbow six siege but every time I get on it it says “looking for patching” on the Ubisoft connect screen

that solved my issue as well. awesome. I did quite a lot of troubleshooting and could not fix it. even gfn support did not help. they only said to unselect "Start Ubisoft in offline mode". However that never popped up. and since i am on a mac i also could not download, install and launch ubisoft connect and do it from there.

I do exactly what is said on the youtube video, I unlink Steam–Ubisoft connection, I revoke access, I launch Ubisoft games from Steam client, and I do thousands advice from other forums but... none works for me. The problem is that I see Ubisoft login box with “offline mode” always UNCHECKED within GFN but the GeForceNOW somehow remembers it otherwise and I can’t play any Ubisoft game for a month. Could anybody help me find a better solution?

Mine just crashes everytime I pick a race won't load to the race

My problem is that the ubisoft games just freezes, from ac valhalla to mirage they just freeze on startup and it's really weird and annoying as i finally got mirage to play after waiting so much for this problem to appear (and i can't launch valhalla since a month ago)

unfortunately this is not working for me either. I tried it as you say in video, but when i log to ubisoft again, I see new updated ubisoft connect app and there is no option with running app offline or anything like that. So I don't know if I have that option on or off
I can play most games but not Rainbow six siege :(

Remember before I played geforce now rainbow six seige on my PlayStation account and synced that ubisoft account to my geforce now. Now it says 0 games synced even though I can clearly see I have the game on my ubisoft account both ps5 and pc version. Any reason why?

My problem is with iPad and Android, the game starts fine on PC but not on iPad and Android, while other Ubisoft games do allow it, any ideas on this?

If you use a chromebook you can link the account through your phone.
