This did the trick, thanks bud! Remember to click OK > APPLY > OK and not just OK twice after nullification of the LAN proxy settings.

Windows key+i > system > troubleshoot > network & internet > run auto t/s > reset network adaptor OR you can try hard reset at access pt
This usually takes care of 90% of connectivity problems if not then try winsock reset or dns flush

My problem is that ubisoft connect client can't get even past the login part before I get connection lost message. It's not the internet as it is consistenly good and doesn't drop nearly ever.
