These boys were very vocal in the first trial about their father’s physical and emotional abuse and the sexual assaults and family and friends backed them up and everyone ignored it .
Had these boys been girls they would not be in jail right now .

On another note, it also shows how faulty our judicial system can be at times, considering if that had happened in today’s age. Do we really think those boys would’ve gotten life in prison? We all know the answer to that.

Yes, it’s ground for a new trial because initially they thought that the cousin and other family members had been either bribed or somehow prompted to say these things to help the Menendez with their case. But now that there’s an actual letter which was sent way before the parents were murdered, it does validate the claim that in fact, they were molested by their parents.

That’s the same cousin who took his own life in 2003 because of the guilt he felt for not telling his parents what Erik and Lyle told him. Also, that his testimony wasn’t enough to keep his cousins out of jail.

Yes, there should be another trial. Reading and listening to several things recently and according to their very good behavior they need to be released for time served imo.

Not only is there the letter but also the accusation of the Menudo member that claims he was also molested by Jose Menendez so I think there should be re-sentencing.

They should be released for time served. What about the testimony of the Menudo band member coming forward now to say he was raped by the Father Jose Menendez years ago when he was a teenager? Plus we don’t know who else will come forward to accuse Jose of rape. Are there others?
