I am currently recovering from sever sepsis. I was in our hospital for 37 days including a week in ICU with septic shock. It affected my heart, lungs, kidneys had infection in my neck. When admitted into hospital my CRP was 403. I had 3 washout operations, one on my left knee, right ankle twice left lower arm & right lower leg. It is a miracle that I am still here to talk about. There isn't much known of sepsis here in New Zealand. I didn't know I had it & I had only heard of it from watching Ambulance tv programme from UK. I have been out of hospital now for 6 months but still feeling the effects of it. I have been learning a lot about sepsis since I have been discharged from hospital.

Nearly died of it in the ICU. Didn't know I had it. I had never even heard of it at the time. I was admitted to hospital for a severe case of shaggers back thanks to my ex-girlfriend who saved my life! Nurses kept waking me up and wouldn't let me sleep to make sure I was still alive. Yeah, I know all about PTSD from it

Well they don't introduce it easily. Not really subtle video for someone who's close friend/family is currently experiencing sepsis haha..
