The Elevate isn't as feature-rich as the new Creta or the Seltos and it also lacks a diesel option. But there are many things that it does really well. Do you agree with our positives & negatives?

Why you people always complain about sunroof?! Its totally unsafe and compromise in body strength.

Crux : in price range of 19 lakhs

For Drivability (feel of steering control)
Taigun > Kushaq> Elevate > Hiryder >Creta > Seltos

For Cabin Interior space

Elevate > Creta > Seltos > Hiryder >Taigun > Kushaq

For 2nd row comfort

Elevate > Kushaq > Taigun> Creta> Seltos> Hyryder

Engine response ( withTurbo effect in some)
Taigun > Kushaq> Elevate > Creta> Seltos> Hyryder (NA )

I appreciate your review of Honda Elevate. It's quite useful for someone (like me) who is considering Elevate as the next buy in future. I wonder where Elevate stands when compared to Taigun and Kushaq.

I have booked vx mt red variant and will be receiving it next week according to the showroom. Imo 360 camera and front parking sensors would have been nice to deal with the larger dimensions, especially since our neighborhood has very cramped streets. Tpms is another miss but it can be installed for just 2k so those who need it can get it. I am quite satisfied with the price to features ratio. However i do feel the interior of lower variants look quite inferior to the top variant. The tan looks gorgeous and elegant. The beige looks a bit bland.

@Carwale - Hows the Elevate Body build quality compared to Taigun? Hows the sheet thickness and Paint quality vs Taigun ? Be honest

The only cars that offers a cvt below 17 lakhs is vitara, and the elavate, hyundai with Kia have gradually increased the price and now you won't get a automatic in the hyundai stable below 19.5 lakhs on road,

Here the elavate is paying a value card and that's understandable, at 15 lakhs you get a v Mt and a v cvt costs around 16.8 cheaper than a creta better value if you are ready to look past some features

Nice video, thank you! Watching here with expectation of Honda Elevate (here will be X-RAY-V) launch hopefully later this year. It seems like your version there in India is lacking the bit more performance & assesories to attract a younger buyer to this introductory vehicle. As you mentioned, I also would like to have many of the offerings that the Seltos & Nexon have in the Elevate. Plus, a turbo option of course with rear disk breaks & 18” wheels. I wouldn’t mind paying for all those. Here in Brazil, what comes closest to this package is the HR-V Touring & Advance. This similar-sized SUV is a real joy to drive! However, the multimedia seems to be left over from the 90s. As well, while offering a similar ground clearance, the undercarriage is invaded by low hanging exhaust, muffler & a few other parts. Honda have then protected these exposed parts with added exposed steel bars which lower the effective ground clearance while not reassuring that these parts are well protected. In contrast, the Elevate has a clean undercarriage. Let’s see what they come up with here. And hopefully, the next generation or facelift of the Brasil HR-V will improve in these areas. Cheers ☀️

i don't know why they didn't brought this with hybrid. it would have surpassed all other cars in the segment in the market.

The deal breaker in lower cvt trims is lack of cruise control, not sure why Honda is not offering it.

Hi Team,
Thanks for the detailed review and discussing the short cimings. I was confused between Elevate ZX CVT and Creta facelift S(o) IVT as these two falls under same price braket. My only concern is NVH is elevate . Is that bearable or very uncomfortable in highways. The version with ADAS in creta costs around 22L . Is that worth to go for 22L in creta which offers extra space or should I go for Eleavte ZX cvt which is 20L with bearable noise. Kindly suggest.

my observation is that in the Elevate there is a sizeable bump in the centre of the back seat, making it uncomfortable for the middle opinion?

Back design they should change its look like kia
And we need ventilated seat
We need type c port
We need tubro petrol
We need drl look more stylish in front and back
We need panoramic sunroof with good build quality
We need 5 star elevate 🙌

This elevate no has global ncap safety rating

Another thing that people blame is comparing a 1. 5 NA ivetec with a turbo like a 1.0 tsi or a gdi, as they say it give more Power, it's the way both the engines deliver, a turbo operates between a 1800 - 5500 rpm, whereas a ivetec reves upto 7000 giving a liner power band, to a turbo charged engine.
