Check Samsung solar remote control battery status #shorts

Like for so many other settings, to fins out how much battery power there is in Samsung’s Solar remote (introduced this year), you need to dive deep in the menus. Here’s a demo on 43-inch 43Q60A.

Guys, if you’re not seeing the section that is displayed in the video you’ll need to reconnect the remote by pressing both “Return+play pause” and then head back to the settings and general.

On my new TV, the option was not listed in any menu. I paired it by holding return/back and play/pause, and voila! Magically appeared where you are showing it to be!

Guys. no. for people experience problems with red light and to controller acting up: its a problem of paring. just press the BACK+PLAY button for a few seconds. its a Bluetooth problem.

Hate that solar remote..have the 75QN85A and looking for an alternate remote with press function..not annoying toggle function.

This is worst remote of all time . Old remotes were better, this one breaks down early and in a year u need 3 remotes atleast . Average life of this remote is only 3 months .

Update on this one: Smart remote battery charge level now showing. Despite the TV being brand new I had to disconnect from mains, and do a full factory reset, on the thing that's only a few weeks old. Of course that means having to repeat setting up all other applications that need a login, and go through all the picture/sound settings again. No logic to that whatsoever. So progress made there at least.

Now onto the mostly frustrating voice control. Set up Voice, select Bixby and sub options, fine. Few hours later it's like none of that happened. Now a tedious part of daily routine. Samsung have suggested trying Alexa. 1 I don't use Alexa on anything else 2 Alexa won't reach the TV settings I tend to switch around based on content. Worst implemented TV feature I've encountered. Once again, no logic to it. I can go through the setup in the morning, yet later in the day without the TV even being put to standby it loses it again. I'll call it what it is. Crap.

It never charges by solar or indoor lights, I’ve gotten second remote from Samsung and same problem.

Please next time when you film please do not stand taller then the tv and fining downwards. It’s difficult for your audience to watch what I trying to show on the tv screen . Please be seated and film directly facing tv screen . Thx 🙏🏻

The option doesn’t show on my QN90A, but oddly it did on my QE55Q70A. It would be good if it at least offered a status message on the TV when you plugged the remote in to charge up. But nothing.

I purchased this tv for $2500 and it didn’t come with the charger 😒😒 it was saying that I have to purchase it separately 🤬🤬

Pozdrav Darko, kupio sam Q60A 55 inca, prezadovoljan sam, ali sam primetio da je daljinski bio skoro prazan kada sam ga kupio, napunio sam ga preko usb kabla iz PC ija i od tada konstantno pokazuje da je na 100% iako se koristi svaki dan, da li je to bug ili se malo troši? Nije nijednom bio okrenut ka svetlu tako da znam da se nije punio preko solarne energije
