Samsung Smart TV: How to Pair, Unpair, & Reset Remote (Remote Not Working?)

I show you how to connect, sync, unpair, pair or reset a Samsung smart TV remote if your remote is not workng. I am using the UHD AU8000 model/series but some other Samsung TV's with a similar remote should work as well. Hope this helps.

I want to thank you so much, I couldn’t get the Alexa button for voice control to work on my Samsung smart TV even after I called Samsung, they wanted me to reset my whole TV! I didn’t want to lose all my apps and thought that it had to be simpler than that! After I listen to your video, it was just that easy! Hi, thanks for the video. I had this problem, would follow the steps and the remote would be good for a while then would 'unpair'. Tech support from Samsung suggested that I try to pair the remote with my phone to confirm the Bluetooth was serviceable. Bluetooth was good. The fault is in the WiFi and/or Bluetooth module in the TV. The Tv has been sent for parts replacement.

Great video! My remote was working hoever the buttons were terribly unresponsive and slow. When I first tried your method it said "remote not found" so I did a hard reset of my TV by unplugging it while it was on. Plugged back in and followed your directions and bingo! Working like new again! Thanks!

Thanks for the video. My remote was working only in IR but not bluetooth ao decided to do this. Tv said searching for bt then can find and now the remot does not work at old. Every time I press a key will show the bt pairing again. Is the new model with embeded battery/solar
