if your extend volume isn't showing just delete both volume or however volume u may have and it will all become one unallocated space and then just do the new simple volume thing for the whole drive to become one partition(just watch out that deleting volume will delete the data on that partition and this method i used it on a SD Card)

Thanks, very helpful. The expand volume didn't work so I cleared volume for both sides and they joined together as one.

What is the advantage of not partitioning an External Hard Drive ?
I have purchased 5TB External Hard drive (WD brand), should i make partition in it or keep it as united 5TB ?

I had a 8 years old WD External Hard Drive and i had never made any partition in it. That Hard Drive is still working fine.

i tried to move a game folder into my ssdisk for a backup, i restarted the pc because it wasnt working and the complete 49.5GB file converted into system partition?? did i lose those folders? the folder i put it in is still there but when i open it it says its empty but the folder itself still weights the 49.5GB
