The end of an era, feel sad removing this as I remember what a hassle it was to install all those years ago - I actually think I used this channel's tutorial for it.

"since I don't have much storage space to begin with"
Me: looks *499 GB*
Me with 121 GBs on my mac and wants to install windows anyway: *confused screaming*

I did not expect it to be that easy!
I thought deleting the bootcamp partition would never bring back the unused space to macOS.

ya forgot to mention a tiny detail if it doesn't let you delete it right away, you may need to adjust the partition (got this from an answer on the web):
1. Format the BOOTCAMP-partition through disk utility to MS-DOS (FAT)
2. Press cmd + space and write bootcamp-assistant, open bootcamp
3. Erase windows and merge the partitions as one mac HD-partition

thank you so much this was so helpful and I was so scared I was gonna lose all the space from bootcamp forever. I'd recommend this to others who need help. Many thanks

0:25 when I click continue it tells me that I need 40 Gb free space, I do have them, but I should uninstall Bootcamp, why does it ask me for extra free space?? HELP If I just try to delete a partition that has 40 Gb of free space it tells me "operation failed" "An internal error has occurred and the disk for one of the specified operations could not be found. This may be a temporary issue, try again."

Please help! I installed Bootcamp a couple years ago but need it gone. Bootcamp Assistant will not let me do anything now to delete it. The only option it gives me is continue and when I click continue it gives me this The startup disk does not have enough space to be partitioned. What can I do now to delete Windows and Bootcamp? Thank you!

On my MacOS Catalina, after removing Boot Camp, the space that the Windows files occupied was still there, the Mac's HD went back to normal, but the files were still there. To resolve this, I went to Library > Caches, and deleted everything inside this folder. It worked for me.

Hi, I want to add more space to the Windows 10 partition. To do this, should I remove boot camp like in this video and then simply re-setup boot camp with a larger partition? Will I have issues obtaining Windows 10 again if I do this? Any advise would be appreciated, thank you.

Just to confirm, once you remove the windows parition, you could install it again, correct?

I’ve had issues since day 1 with the windows install through boot camp. I couldn’t increase the size, my Mac OS slowed down, and now running this tutorial I just had a message saying it couldn’t return it to one single partition.

I got what I needed to get done in windows though, so really appreciate the tutorials. Might just wipe the SSD clean and install a dress macOS again.
