My cousin is a doctor. She loves medical dramas but she also loves ranting about their inaccuracies. Like House. She said he would have been “IMMEDIATELY FIRED” and that he would have lost his medical licence very quickly. She also said nurses play a HUGE role in hospitals and almost all medical dramas pretend they don’t exist and the doctors do all of the nursing jobs.

You forgot the off duty doctor that happens to be at the hospital when something goes wrong just for them to save the day.

Removing gloves. I cringe at the horribly wrong way many shows do this and it's so simple and basic.

One thing that really bothers me about medical shows: doctors do not perform diagnostic imaging tests....xrays, CT scans, MRIs...doctors are nowhere near these rooms!

Please consider making a video about what the courtroom dramas get wrong or the police procedural programs.

They should have called this "Top Ten Things Grey's Anatomy gets wrong" since that's practically the only show used for this list.

I don’t know if that show gets a mention but I think it’s funny that Scrubs, a mostly comedy series on hospitals, is the most medically and realistically accurate (it also does the drama better than most dramas), needless to say it’s one of if not my favorite tv show of all time

Dr. House: House.
Peter Griffin: Road House!
Dr. House: That too.

I've known about a doctor-patient relationship. They do happen. More often than not the most common issue that you don't see on TV are doctors and/or nurses screwing up mundane but non-life threatening procedures causing the patient much pain, such as their not deflating the inner balloon portion (inside the bladder) of a urinary catheter holding the cathter in and repeatedly trying to forcefully pull the catheter out, all the while the patient's screaming in pain yet being told "some degree of pain is always normal". Hey, nobody's perfect in any line of work but I will say nurses never get the degree of credit they deserve for all the care they give patients.

when I watch House I always thought that his patients will go bankrupt after all the tests.
