I love that the interviewees are playing along. Especially the lady who said "I haven't blinked yet" with the straight face.

"America First is America Alone" is perfect.

Jon playing the oblivious American is gold.

I know its part of the joke but I love how an international journalist can take Jon to task where as in the case of American journalists, and politicians, Jon always just wipes the floor with them

“America first is America alone”

I feel like this needs to be shared more.

"Do you understand why you're being hated by some people?"
"No! We've given the world really great shows. And Drake. Even though he's Canadian."
This is such brilliant satire because it's so accurate. Americans are either painfully aware of their impact or completely oblivious.

Edit: Thank you very much for continously proving both of my points in the comments below. I literally don't need to add any further. I genuinely wish all you Americans good luck. Y'all need it.

When Jon said “do you trust the United States: Yes, or of course?” I immediately envisioned Colbert delivering that line as his old character lol

The subtle sarcasm by John here is hilarious. He is making a point with these questions and acting like he's surprised by their answers.

"Sometimes there are crumbs on the floor" - stone cold humour, superb 🙂

There is hope for American self awareness as long as Jon Stewart continues the conversation

At 4:21 when Lea said "Let's say, let's pretend" I was in stitches. What a phenomenal dialogue.

I can't believe he manages to say all of these things without cracking up with laughter.

It took a long time for the algorithm to give me this. 😂
Mick Wallace and Clare Daly, a touch of Irish sarcasm but Jon plays it a little over the top for the humorously challenged. 😂😂😂

Why do I think a decade of Jon Stewart as President of the United States with a cabinet filled with experts and academics could achieve more than fifty years of politicians...

Jon's acting of this character is just so good. You could easily imagine this being a Christopher Guest movie.
