Since he’s under a year, he’ll qualify for the P2-SIV. Call your Senator & Congressman/woman to get it rolling.

But, YES. We need the AAA desperately. But the AAA needs additional work. Afghans do not view families as the US with a nuclear fam. Under the P2, you can only bring your spouse and kids.

But if your kid is married & has kids, their spouse and children must wait and that is insane. It can be so dangerous, especially since that wait can be FIVE YEARS +. And if they leave behind a wife and kids, horrible things can occur (like in Mazar e Sharif where they kidnapped 40 widows and raped and killed most of them.

Parents should also be included. If your 30 year old son and his family leave for the USA & worked with the US gov, partner, NGO of media outlet, neither his parents nor his spouses will be safe. His siblings and their families are also in danger.

This is so frustrating.
