Fixing a surging Briggs & Stratton motor.

This will fix nearly every surging motor without a throttle cable where the idle goes too low and it tries to recover, only to go back to the position where the idle is too low again. This is not the factory recommended fix but... the factory recommended fix doesn't work for this one.

Some call it hunting, some call it surging, we all call it annoying.

I originally wanted to name this video "Troy Bilt Hunting". I thought it was funny but I knew it wouldn't make it easy to find in searches.

👍I sometimes am forced to open the orifices up ever so slightly on problematic running “newer” gas mowers. It seems that CA & EPA has really de-tuned many mowers to almost starving for fuel and I’ve found that sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do to have them operate the best. Just my 2¢ & it works for me most of the time under certain circumstances.
Good video Sir. 👍

Your best bet is to stay away from Briggs and Stratton motors they have cheapened them up so bad that there not worth buying anymore.try to find any other motor brand that still uses manual throttle controls. Don't even think about wasting money on a motor with a plastic carburetor.
