Fixing power shut off protection issue with Yamaha Receiver RX V675

How I fixed my Yamaha, Receiver, RX-V765. It was shutting off after a few seconds, going into protection mode.

I had my V375 yesterday refuse to power up after a period of low voltage from the national grid. When power fully restored I checked all fuses and they were fine. I used your tone, info, power hack and it came on with sleep in flashing red. Seems fine again now so guess that it shut down as sensed low power fault. Such a relief as I love the machine. Thanks Dude, I found a Yamaha Receiver next to my Trash compactor and it didn't seem to work. I plugged it in and nothing turned on, until I searched for help on Google and it led me to your video on YOUTUBE. I followed the steps that you show and by magic it turned on.

Worked on my Yamaha rx-v657 which doesn't have a usb port, but I found the connector with 2 gray and 1 red wire, unplugged it and boom! Thank you! 🙏🏿

Thanks for this video, have a pioneer vsx 919 which last night just shut off randomly and went into protection/blinking red light mode while wife was watching tv at %30 volume, have tried the 2 button reset method with no luck but my next step after watching your video will be to start unplugging boards 🤔

My YAMAHA DSP A2070 amp randomly shuts off. I read Replace the 0.047uf 5.5V Supercapacitor...backup cap on the DSP pcb. I did, still does it. Any guesses?

Any help on getting PCM off as has my sound decoder? Just started yesterday and whenever I use one of the Cinema Theater options it only plays from my center channel and not my left and right speakers? Have to use 2 and 7 channel inputs to get sound....not great for movies and sports! Have been trying everything the last 2 days from this 155 page user manual and can't figure out....argh! I have the yamaha a4a. I turn it off with my roku but about 1-2min later the AV turns back on for about 20seconds then shuts itself off again. Kinda like it thinks I turned on the roku or tv but I don't. Any ideas?

hi, my rx v463 working well, but no display, i checked power supply to display in three wires cable, the two side wires have 4.4v AC, the center wire has -60v with the mass. what is problem? thank you.
