I refused to even learn about a credit card until my mid-late 20s. My parents are not the most financially intelligent, but they weren’t totally reckless. Still, I watched their credit card debt affect them negatively, and helped them cut the cards up into pieces after declaring bankruptcy when I was 8. I didn’t get my first credit card until I could afford to not NEED one. until 2 weeks ago, 😆 And I’m 32, and checking around every corner, and not using this for anything I don’t buy on a weekly/monthly basis anyway!
