I've paid off my house on my own being single. Can I give the deed to my father so if I get married and divorced the ex has zero claim to my home?

Bought a house with the wife, got the divorce almost 2 years ago. We didn't even we didn't even split the equity we negotiated with equity and child support. But she still hasn't refinance the house in the damn house is still in my name.

But she's not going to want to refinance with these high interest rates.

Married 24 years. She filed for an OP first to get me out, sobbed in court, then filed for divorce.

I've been out for 1.5 years.

The final divorce trials begin soon.

We have a 15 y/o son.

We both agree he should stay in the home.

1. Would a judge allow us to live together? What if she hates me? But isn't that a police matter? ie. could a judge kick me out permanently?

or

2. Will she automatically get say 80% of the house just because she's the primary caregive, albeit against my wishes?

or

3. Why doesn't her family help her buy me out?

Thanks.

The problem is it costs thousands in attorney fees to force her to sell and she can drag it out….my dad is getting taken advantage of by a lady doing this

Fourth option:
You both keep the house. One of you rents from the other.

Fifth option:
You both keep the house and both of you live in it.

NO ONE can force you to sell your property unless the co-owner doesn't want their half and you cannot afford to buy her out.

Otherwise, even if she says to the judge that she wants to keep the house, the judge cannot order you to sell it.

That's not true, my ex bought me out and she didn't refinance! The crummy lawyers had in the divorce decree that she would refinance in good faith means eternity! I'm stuck with the damn house on my debt

She doesn't have to refinance, she should! My ex paid me a portion of the equity. We had to negotiate equity and child support. I got close to half to get her to lower my child support a bit. But she never refinanced! It's in the divorce decree that she refinanced in good faith! My crummy lawyers Allowed her team of lawyers to put in the decree for her to refinance in good faith. She will never refinance! Court allow women to screw over men 9 1/2 times out of 10!

How long does she get to sit on it and make me wait to get my money so I can move on
