My husband wants the divorce after 22yrs. Things were going good until an argument about my son's lie. He moved out in Feb...i have pleated, cried, and cried. I dont want the divorce I'm just praying. But I'm no longer in the mindset of chasing him either. I recently got on a dating site for a distraction. It may not be right but I'm tired of constantly thinking about him and hoping he will text or call. We spoke on the phone for the 1st time in 2 weeks. He was very pleasant and said he appreciated me. I have no clue why he said that and wished I would've pressed further. No lawyers involved yet. In a couseling session he said our state don't accept it until after 6 months of separation. I guess im getting tired. This is his 3rd time running. Maybe i should just let him go cause my chasing him days are done. The crazy part we are 2 great ppl no cheating or major issues🤷🏾‍♀️

My by law “wife” says our relationship is over. As weird as it sounds I’m glad she it is. I have child abandonment issues and it wrecked my marriage. I asked out of respect give us 3 months to file because we have a Disney trip coming up. So she’s waiting to file. However I now have a 3 month window to try and win her over even though according to her it’s a very small chance. He’s right! Talking it out is a bad idea. It does reinforce their need for divorce. I know, I’ve tried talking it out. Doesn’t work. I’m on day one of no contact. I’ll call to talk to the children but won’t engage her in conversation

Most divorces are initiated by women, which is what happened to me.

Don't waste your time like I did. I wept more than 1/2 the days for 450 days straight. BUT, I also made an effort to get in shape, read, and look at young hotties in downtown Chicago.

If a woman wants a divorce, there is not a chance on earth she will change her mind.

Plus, when she is 60, are you REALLY gonna look back at these years with fondness in your heart? Or are you gonna look back with sadness even if you're still with her.

That said, God said no divorce. How strong are you???

What do you do if you have made the effort, and changes that was causing issues. He thinks that He has hurt me and thinks that the only way to fix this and to find himself and heal himself is to leave. Basically I'm good, but him worrying about me is causing him stress? He is also dealing with a lot of stress at work and that stress started 2 years ago....when he told me he wanted out when I was 8 months pregnant with our 4th child. He loves me, cares for me, thinks I'm the best mom. But is not attracted to me romantically anymore and knows I deserve better???? I don't believe it and know he is stressed and thinks this is his only form of control since he can't control work. I know deep down he doesn't want to do this...but he feels stuck and that this is the only way...any options or advice?? I"m not giving up on him, us, and our family.

I adore and love my Christian wife Katherine. Today is week 7 of her throwing me out on Dec-28. I am deeply depressed. I've been the very best Christian Husband that I can be, albeit with occasional mistakes, like all Men. I have been faithful to my beloved Katherine, with zero emotional-physical violence.
